What Is Fluconazole?

Fluconazole capsules are a strong anti-fungal medication ideal for treating vaginal or penile thrush. Thrush infection, also called candida, is caused by an overgrowth of fungus that thrives in warm, moist environments like the tongue or genitals.  Thrush is not sexually transmitted, but it can be triggered by sex. Fluconazole is very effective such that a single dose clears the fungal infection. Fluconazole is fit for children and adults over the age of 16 years.
