Anne Stuart has written a social history of Saughall Village. To date, this is the most comprehensive article published about the village.
Prior to this, Mr Eric Lowe had done an article which may still be available in the local library. It was printed A4 loose leaf history.
Saughall Parish Council produced a Village plan in 2005. This also contained a summary history written by the then chairman, Mr Alan Bailey.
